Spirit of defeat, I will fight you to death!

I feel very convinced and certain that we have received divine knowledge about the enemy's present scheme in our church.  As the apostle Paul said in Ephesians 6:11, we have to "put on the full armor of God so that we can stand against the devil's schemes."   However, if we don't have knowledge about what the enemy's schemes are, how are we able to stand against them?

By the grace of God, the Spirit has revealed that the present scheme of the enemy in our church is the spirit of defeat, along with it are the spirit of fear, the spirit of self-abasement, the spirit of timidity, an attitude of low self-esteem and self-pity, etc.   The enemy has so far been quite successful in holding many of us, including myself, in bondage through these spirits, attitudes, and ways of thinking.   For far too long, many of us have been crippled, immobilized, disabled and paralyzed through this kind of thinking pattern and attitude brought to us by this spirit of defeat.

Now I want to say that I have seen enough of what the enemy has done through this scheme to steal, kill, and destroy different areas of our life.  The enemy has stolen blessings and success that belong to us in our finances, our relationships, our emotions, our school, our work, and our relationship with the Lord.   But now I declare    "THIS IS ENOUGH. THIS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH."

We will not tolerate it anymore!  Let alone the idea of continue letting it control our lives!   NO, I declare in the Mighty Name of Jesus, the CONQUEROR, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords,  OUR King and OUR Lord, that     "BE GONE, THE SPIRIT OF DEFEAT, you have neither any rights nor authority to stay in Sunrise anymore, LEAVE NOW OR BE SORRY because I will fight you to death!"

But honestly, I don't need to, because the Lord Jesus has already fought you to death, and the truth is HE HAS ALREADY DEFEATED YOU BY HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION!  He is an ever-victorious conqueror, and you are an ever-defeated loser!    I declare, "In the Name of Jesus that we will defeat you by the blood of Jesus and by the word of our testimony (Rev. 12:11)."  and I also declare    "Sunrise will rise up as a mighty, strong and fearless battleship, a conquering battleship that brings great glory to Jesus!"

Brothers and sisters, I want you to know that I am absolutely DETERMINED to drive out this spirit of defeat completely.  I will not rest until I see this spirit be totally gone from our lives and our church.  I will fight it to my last breath and strength, because I know that we can not experience the freedom and power of the abundant life if it has even just a foothold in us.   And my desire is to see the abundant life being experienced and manifested by each one of our Sunrise bros & sis.

I am so grateful that our Prayer & Fasting campaign has already had a great start yesterday!  Both mornng and evening I felt the strong anointing of the glorious presence of our Lord in our worship.  I also felt a very strong spiritual warfare anointing in our prayer time as we seek the Lord through repentance and intercession, and as we engage the enemy through authoritative warfare declarations.  Moreover, in these two mornings the Word of God came forth very powerfully in our Bible study time.    The Lord spoke and imparted to us the spirit of a conqueror.

The Lord is really leading us into battle against this scheme of the enemy, and His desire is to give us His SPIRIT OF VICTORY, THE SPIRIT OF A CONQUEROR!   Let's get ready for a spiritual breakthrough!

"My Father will honor the one who serves me." Jesus in John 12:26

I am so glad to be back home after a 3-week trip to Asia.  There is no place like home!!  I say that in reference to my physical family with Jasmine & Abby, and also to my spiritual family, Sunrise LA.    I really missed all of you when I was out there, and I was constantly thinking about many of you.  Thanks a lot for all of your prayers!  I know many of you have prayed for me and my family during the last 3 weeks.  I also want to thank those who give special care to Jasmine and Abby when they needed that most.  And I also want to thank our Sunrise family for throwing the Mother's Day party for Jasmine!!  You guys are so thoughtful!!!

This is my first entry in Xanga.  I've figured out that this is a place where I can connect with a lot of people and share my mind and my heart with those who are interested in things about me and about Jesus.  So I plan to use this as a means of sharing and discipleship.

Today, I was led by the HS to read John 12:20-36 in my personal time with the Father.  As my heart was longing so much for Him in worship, I felt His loving presence.  I sang worship songs to Him and prayed, and these verses came to my mind.

The specific verse that touches me is v.26 "My Father will honor the one who serves me."   I felt so touched that as a very insignificant person, God the Father will honor me!  Our Father has really given us so much blessings as I reflect on my life, my family, my experience in the past few years, and our church family.  Even though I don't have the riches of the world, I have the riches of the abundant life in Jesus.

I am so glad for having such a blessed family with a very loving wife and a very cute daughter!

I am so glad for having such a wonderful spiritual family with brothers who trust me and believe in me, and with sisters who earnestly seek God and desire Jesus more than anything else!

I am so glad for having those shepherds who love their sheep and pour their lives out for their sheep!

I am so glad for having those intercessors who spend time on their knees in the presence of the Father on behalf of me, of their leaders, and of the church they love!

I am so glad for those who serve the Lord upstage and behind the stage week after week with a joyful spirit for the well-beings of others!

I am so glad for those experience we've gone through in the past, although painful, to make us who we are today as a church family!

I am so glad for the many miracles our Lord has given us in times of financial need, and other struggles!

I am so glad for the wonderful things He has done among us!

Oh, I feel so excited and overwhelmed by joy that "The Father will HONOR us, when we serve the Lord Jesus."  I am so HONORED to be a servant of Jesus.

I so long for more of His glory and blessings to be poured out not just in us, but also THROUGH us.

Dear Father, it is my prayer today that as we life up the Name of Jesus, You will draw many people to yourself, and fill your church with many many who love you and worship you!
